I love to write, but sometimes, pictures tell the story much better, although I did add captions.
My sister Nancy stopped by before going to Church, in Holdingford. Thanks Nancy!
In high school, I played sports with Greg Konsor, on the left. He and his wife Cindy own Art in Motion. They also let me stay at their place. Thanks again!
A relaxing morning on the Lake Wobegone Trail.
More of the Lake Wobegone Trail.
And more.
And more.
The trail passes by a fun cafe in Bowlus.
A sign post by the trail in Bowlus.
After cycling on the Lake Wobegone Trail, I moved on to quiet country roads, by the Mississippi River.
The sign on the right says “Charles Lindburgh State Park..” I hope to stop by there when I head south.
Info about the park, with a small MRT sign on the left.
Little Falls Minnesota
I found a cozy park to relax, by the Mississippi River
For 11 miles, the MRT was on a busy road. It wasn’t officially a highway, but it felt like it.
After the busy road, the trail went through Crow Wing State Park
Loved cycling through Crow Wing State Park.
No words needed…
It is great to follow your journey. Keep those posts coming. Also, nothing better than seeing old friends/family and making new ones.
I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying the journey with me, Pam! And you’re right, nothing better than family and friends, especially on bike-ride. 🙂
What a nice trail! No cars!!! Great weather helps, too, eh?
The weather has been good. It’s a little cool at night though. That’s been fine when I slept inside, but tonight, I’ll be in my tent when the temperature will drop to freezing. I’ll need to bundle up.
