Rajun Cajun Bike Tour: Day 5 Pictures Posted on 6th November 2017 by Steven Malikowski Here are pictures from day 5 of our Rajun Cajun bike tour. Ruth had a little problem with a fender. With the help of 3 guys, we did a great job of making it worse. This was a typical morning. The staff were up early getting bikes ready, and more. Another small Lousiana town. Picture from the swamp tour that was part of our bike tour. More of the swamp tour. Yet more of the swamp tour. One from the road, wiht sugar caine on both sides. Alligators may be tough, but our real fear was the mesquitos, see the sign. A fun little tourist stop. About every 15 miles, our tour guides had a rest stop for us. Another picture from the road. Ruth did an amazing job, cycling over 200 miles! Another picture from the road. When we were cycling, the bags here held our tent, sleeping, bags, and gear. What a crock. The food was amazing. But, the bikes were better. We spent about an hour trying to find this … landmark. It’s a snake in the shape of the river, based on local legend. This is the bridge in some town ending in Bridge.
