I’m auditioning for a 10-minute solo performance, and I’d like any comments you can give on my audition. It needs to follow the theme of “The first time.” An early draft of my audition is below. It’s 3 minutes long, which is the max length.
I’d enjoy any comments you want to share about my audition, like which parts work and which parts could be more clear. You can add comments here, send me a text in Teams, any other type text, email, or just talk with me.
My audition is for an event called Tell Us Something. It occurs four times a year, often at the Wilma. Eight people will be selected to give a 10-minute performance based on their audition.
Thanks reading all this and for any comments you want to give!
I thought it was very good. Would like to read more. How was the job ogroats to lands end? Did you do the Bikepacking route?
Thanks for your comments, Shane.
About my Land’s End to John O’Groat’s ride, it was my first bike tour, in 2011, so it’ll always be special. I also love little British towns, so that was great. It was a road ride, not a gravel ride.
I think it’s terrific. I very much like your upbeat start, meaty and deeply affecting middle, and the conclusions you draw. And of course love the butterflies! I wouldn’t change a thing.
Happy trails my friend!
Thanks Scott! I like how you analyzed each section.
I think it’s great! A subject I am always interested in. I hope you reach many with your life story.
Hey Steven, As one who spent six years in a Toastmaster club, I think you nailed it. Good luck!
